Hippo Hands are the original motorcycle hand covers and each pair is made using high-quality craftsmanship and the best available, weather-resistant materials.

Hippo Hands are covered with HippoSkin™, a waterproof outer shell, and insulated with a generous layer of HippoFat™, a warm, flexible, closed-cell foam insulation—both are designed to keep inclement weather away from your hands.

Cold hands while riding can turn an amazing ride into pure misery. The way we prefer to look at it is that keeping cold wind, rain and snow off your hands improves every ride. Hippo Hands keep your hands dry in a wind-free, warm, fleece-lined sanctuary, making a long ride more pleasant and safer for the rider.
 
Choose from three different models to suit your type of riding and motorcycle:
  • Backcountry - Enduro & dirt bike motorcycle hand covers - 9" Deep
    • Designed for Enduro and dirt bikes, they are also a great option for Harleys/cruisers that have swept back bars. ​Email us with your model if you are unsure. Harleys require hand guards installed to properly support Hippo Hands or any hand covers​.​ Riders who want a smaller hand cover that still offers very good protection but is better suited for standing while riding choose the Backcountry model. We have many customers who love them for cool, wet single-track excursions. These are built to last!
  • Rouge - Mid-sized motorcycle hand covers   - 10.5" Deep
    • Mid-sized versatility. Fits a myriad of adventure and sport touring bikes, as well as some scooters, and other bikes. It is our commuter rider's model of choice.  It offers a large hand opening that stays open at high speeds and they are designed to be fitted over brush/hand guards.
  • Alcan — Max coverage ADV/touring motorcycle hand covers   - 12" Deep with forearm enclosure
    • The Alcan™ is a maximum coverage, all-weather hand cover that fits adventure bikes, sport touring bikes, and many others. The Alcan is for riders who embark on cold, wet-weather rides and longer tours. These are the absolute warmest hand covers on the market.  These fit BMW GS 1200/1250/850/650, KTM 1290/890/790, Africa Twin, HD Pan America and comparable bikes great.

If you've never run a wider high-quality footpeg, you will be pleasantly surprised by the improvement this inexpensive and easy to install upgrade will make! Upgrading to a wider platform footpeg makes a dramatic improvement in comfort as well as greatly improving grip in wet muddy conditions. Our peg adaptors are a great value and easy to install.

It only takes about 10 minutes to install with common hand tools. The additional width and aggressive tooth profile offers an increased contact surface to reduce foot arch strain and improve grip. The wide platform and increased contact points will improve rider confidence in sketchy situations!

The SRC DESIGNS GPS bracket bar gives you a solid attachment point on V-STROM. Gone are the days of trying to read shaky GPS screens. Made of stainless steel and anodized aluminum, this handlebar mounting adapter is built to go the distance.

The GPS mount adapter provides a sturdy 22mm (7/8" inch) diameter mounting bar that is intended for mounting most GPS mounts. It can also be used for roadbook holders or any other device that uses a  common 7/8" clamp.

    Please be aware: All lowering links alter the rear shock linkage leverage ratio, effectively making the rear shock spring softer. And it's already too soft for most riders as it's set up for a 100 lb beginner rider.  If you ride primarily on the street, it probably won't be that big of a deal, but if you ride off-road on loose surfaces, it will have a tendency to make the bike plow through corners instead of carving corners. The front end will push if that makes sense. 

    We generally also recommend that when installing a lowering link that the forks be raised as much as possible without touching the bottom of the handlebars. (assuming no bar risers have been installed).  We do offer lowering seats that don't alter the handling.

    INSTALLATION 
    Installation is a breeze - 2 Minute Installation
    The kit comes with 3 custom fittings for 7/8", 1" and 1-1/4" bars (Also, works with 1.31" over-sized road bike or mountain bike Bars.)  And fits all SRC GPS Bars
    1. Simply place the appropriate spacer over the bar. Connect the clamp with the included wrench and two screws.
    2. Loosen the ball and socket joint and position the phone into the desired position. Lock into place.
    3. From here you will be able to easily place and remove your phone from the mount with a single hand.
